My name is Rob Taylor and I am a recreational triathlete residing in Scottsdale, Arizona.  I am racing in the Ironman Florida Triathlon (November 5, 2005) to increase awareness and raise funds for Prostate Cancer research, all in honor of my uncle Arnout "Sonny" Hyde Jr., who has been fighting this terrible disease for nearly 20 years. 

Through Sonny's battle, my family has witnessed the frustration, pain, uncertainty and sense of loss that this disease creates for the individual and those that love and support them.  At the same time, I have been amazed by the unwavering belief and hope that a cure will be found exhibited by Sonny and his wife Teresa as they have fought this disease together.
